Lionsteel SR1 Titanium Silver
This is the Lionsteel top of the range folder, the frame is textured Titanium and the blade is a Sliepner steel. One of the best folding knives available, anywhere.
Lionsteel make superb knives and the SR1 was the knife that made their name. A truely superb folding knife and a classic design, matched with excellent materials and great engineering. Its a frame lock knife, giving one of the strongest locks and also its made with the patened 'rotolock' which means the frame and be 'locked' solid. Its a large folder, great for a back-up knife, general purpose tool, or a main camp knife.
This one is the Titanium slabs and the blade is Sleipner steel, to 61/62HRC, flat grind. A really top quality folder.

Sleipner's modern version of the classic D2 tool steel, with improved toughness to better fit active knife use. Even though this is not a PM steel, the finer steel structure in Sleipner gives better machinabilty, polishabilty and edge retention. The hardness range is 58-64 HRC.
Sleipner is a high alloyed tool steel used in applications requiring higher wear resistance.
